Kaptivate is a senior engineering practice rather than a staffing pyramid. The people you meet in the first conversation are the people who design and write the system. That constraint is the reason the work holds up.
How we operate
Fewer people, further in.
A larger firm would put a sales team in front of you, an account manager between you and the work, and whoever is on the bench behind it. We do not have those layers, so the engineer who scoped your project is the one who builds it and the one who answers the phone in year two.
- Written before built Scope, architecture and decisions are documented and agreed before code is written, and kept current as things change.
- No lock-in of any kind Your accounts, your repository, your data. Nothing we build requires us to keep operating it.
- Direct access to engineers No account management layer. Questions are answered by the person who wrote the code, usually the same day.
- Built to be inherited Conventional technology choices, documented clearly, so the next engineer to open it is not surprised.
